RTA New Route Changes

Howard County is served primarily by the Regional Transportation Agency (RTA) with limited service by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA).


The RTA provides local fixed route service in Howard County, Anne Arundel County, Prince George’s County and the City of Laurel.  Visit or call 800-270-9553 for current route and schedule information.

A new schedule for MARC Penn Line is now in effect from March 4 – early August 2019 as a result of trackwork being done by Amtrak between New Carrollton and Odenton.  Click here for more information.
